Cleaning Process

Basically, the technique used for washing swiftlet nests cannot be done carelessly and must be done with full precision to avoid damaging the quality of the swiftlet nests.

Washing swiftlet nests serves to remove dirt and feathers that stick and if necessary, whitening agents will be given to nests that are brown or dirty.

Raw Material Grading

Separating swiftlet’s nests based on the type of feathers (light, medium, heavy) and the type of shape (cup, broken, angle).

Compressor Process

The air from the compressor is used to remove stains and sand that stick to the swiftlet’s nests.

First Rinsing

Rinsing using flowing water from the reverse osmosis process with the aim of removing nitrite levels that stick to the swiftlet’s nests.

Plucking Feathers

The plucking of feathers is done very carefully and meticulously using a tool such as tweezers.

Second Rinsing

The second rinse is done with the aim of removing any remaining feathers from the plucking process.

Quality Control

The quality control process is done with the aim of measuring the quality of bird’s nest to ensure it meets the standard.

Drying

The drying process is carried out using a dehumidifier to ensure that the shape, size, and color remain intact according to the original.
